Threadfin salmon can be served in exactly the same way as the more familiar Atlantic salmon. Its orange flesh is meaty and lightly oily, ensuring it remains moist during cooking.
Curinary Uses
Try it pan-fried, barbecued, oven-roast, steamed or poached. It is also suitable for raw preparations such as sushi, sashimi, ceviche and others. For raw preparations, always buy the freshest fish available.
King Salmon can benefit from being served cooked pink. Do so by removing the fish from heat a few minutes before normally done and allowing residual heat to finish the cooking process.
