New and Exciting Fresh Juice Recipes

Last year we featured a blog about the benefits of freshly squeezed juices and we promised you more information on fresh juice ideas.  We have scaled the planet for some juice ideas that you may not have heard before, something different, and delicious combinations that you simply must try.  All ingredients are available at the Noosa Farmers Market and we have also listed some of the health benefits of each for your information.  Happy juicing!

Watermelon and Grape Delight


  • Watermelon
  • Bunch of grapes without the stems


Health Benefits - Watermelon assists in flushing the kidneys and bladder, assists in digestions and the elimination of acid that may cause gout.


The Crazy Noosa Carrot


  • 4 Medium Carrots
  • 4 Tomatoes
  • 2 Stalks of Celery
  • 1 Clove of Garlic
  • Small Bunch of Parsley
  • Some Fresh Basil Leaves

Health Benefits - Carrots contain carotene, which provides natural protection against sunburn as well as their high Vitamin A content.  Celery is rich in Vitamin C.  Garlic defeats high blood pressure and cholesterol, which are just two of its many benefits.   Basil is rich in calcium and has a delicious flavour.   Parsley is packed with iron.  An all round healthy juicing recipe!


The Pink Sunshine Potion


  • 2 Cups of Strawberries
  • 1 Cup of Chopped Watermelon
  • 2 Freshly Squeezed Oranges
  • 1 Freshly Squeezed Lime

Health Benefits - This juice is high in Vitamin C from the oranges and limes, which is great for a healthy immune system, it assists digestion with the watermelon and the strawberries not only add extra Vitamin C they also give you fibre, folic acid and the nitrate they contain increases the flow of blood and oxygen to the muscles with can help with exercise and reduce fatigue.  Plus it tastes great!


Farmers Fennel

  • Half a small fennel bulb 
  • 1 Apple 
  • 2 Carrots 
  • Quarter Beetroot

Health Benefits – Fennel is rich in essential oils which can help symptoms associated with indigestion, constipation, respiratory disorders and menstrual conditions, by helping to regulate hormone balance.  Beetroot is full of antioxidants and are an excellent source of folic acid, so coupled with all the benefits of apples and carrots that we know and love, this juice is going to give your body the boost it deserves!
