Passion for making loyal customers happy leads to new, healthier choices at Maple Muesli
For 40 years, Wade Sharrock has been in the restaurant and catering business, and has also been a cook with industry recognition. His wife, Christine, has spent 25 years managing restaurants and catering businesses as well. This experience prepared them to purchase Maple Muesli Sunshine Coast in 2010, after the company had already been making hand made products in Valdora for about 15 years.
The husband and wife team took over with loyal customers, and a passion to make them happy. Their product range reflects their customer feedback, and the organic quality they strive for is a way to make sure they sell healthy, high quality products. “We are very passionate about producing the very best product we can for our customers. We work with our customers as much as we can, hence the fruit free range, a grain free range and soon to be a nut free range. But the originals will never change, as they are a part of what makes Maple Muesli the success it has been for so very long.”
The team uses certified organic and pesticide free ingredients wherever possible. Their popular Gluten Free Maple Muesli is made with organic rice puffs and multi-puffs, while their traditional Maple Muesli uses organic oats, rye and barley, baked into crunchy goodness. They also have Naked Muesli, which is a raw version of their traditional, so customers can choose to eat it naturally, soak in apple or pear juice, or heat as a porridge.
Most importantly, the toasted products are sweetened with pure Canadian Maple syrup, not refined sugar. The syrup is now recognised as one of the best super foods in the world, as it is all natural. This healthy alternative provides a distinct, sweet flavour that customers have been loving for years. In addition, each product is prepared, baked, packed and sealed each week in their commercial kitchen, so customers know all of their options are healthy and fresh.
Maple Muesli Sunshine Coast supplies a large amount to retail outlets throughout the area, and you’ll even find their products in welcoming baskets at Peppers Noosa Resort. More than anything, however, they love interacting with their customers directly at the Noosa Farmers’ Market. In fact, this customer interaction has helped guide them toward some of the popular products they sell today. For more information, visit their stall at the markets being held every Sunday morning on Weyba Road in Noosaville.
