Awarded Grand Champion and Gold Medals at recent Australian Wagyu Association Branded Beef Competitions, this inspired third-generation Queensland graziers Selwyn and Jocelyn Maller to expand production of their internationally renowned full-blood and crossbred wagyu beef to the Australian market.

The full paddock to plate experience begins at Hamilton Park Wagyu their 3000 breeder operation on family-owned farms across the Maranoa and South Burnett regions, from Mitchell to Roma to Wallumbilla to Murgon.

Acclaimed as well-marbled, succulent, extremely tender and satisfying with a buttery finish … an aroma of caramel and creaminess hinting at hazelnut … The Phat Wag beef brand was launched in 2021 for Australian families to experience unparalleled dining experiences.

Queensland towns Goomeri and Murgon, are home to The Phat Wag. Our Butcher Shops and wholesale Meat Processing Centre are within close reach to south east coastal cities – Hervey Bay, Gympie, Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, and Gold Coast as well as burgeoning regional communities such as Kingaroy, Dalby and Toowoomba.
