Filip eventually made his way to Australia, where he started making gnocchi at Rococo’s in Noosa. He quickly discovered what a meticulous, messy and skilled process it was. This inspired the idea to start a business that would free up chefs’ time and energy, while allowing them to serve hand-crafted, local, mouth-watering gnocchi.
Filip started Noosa Gnocchi in 2013 with a hand peeler and masher, spending the last of his hard-earned savings on a vacuum sealer machine.
Now, he has a hand-picked team of staff working from Noosa Gnocchi’s commercial kitchen in Rene St, Noosaville. Noosa Gnocchi is available at many of Noosa’s best restaurants, food retailers and the Noosa Farmers Market.
Noosa Gnocchi may have grown, but their commitment to producing fresh, delicious hand-crafted gnocchi from the best local, organic ingredients is the same as ever.
